N5FDL/R Gopher Ridge

Gopher Ridge is one of a series of ridges that create the low foothills of the Sierra Nevada range the dominates eastern California. The radio site, home to three Amatur Radio repeaters, a fire department repeater, commercial systems, wireless data/telephony and an FM broadcast station, is at 1,500 feet, with a 100-foot tower.

N5FDL/R Gopher Ridge operates on 147.015 MHz. with a down offset and transmit/receive PL tone of 114.8 Hz. There is also a Yaesu System Fusion repeater at the site, also N5FDL, on 444.400 + PL 114.8. Works both analog and Yaesu digital.
